girl survivor

In the Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh, a 21-year-old youth allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl and filmed the act on his cell phone. Later, to blackmail the adolescent survivor into having a sexual relationship with him, he used the video. Shockingly, when his father heard about it, he reportedly told the father of the girl that after her faith, either his son or he himself would marry her solemnly.

How it happened
According to the police, the accused, identified as Abdul Rehman alias Golu, barged in and raped her on January 11, when the teenage girl was alone in the building. The defendant also filmed and used a video of the heinous act to blackmail her into having a sexual relationship with him. On January 13, the affected girl mustered courage and recounted her ordeal before her family.
After learning about the incident, the teenage survivor’s father went to the accused youth’s house and asked his father, known as Kalim, to tell his son to delete the video of the alleged sexual assault. Instead of taking action against his son or asking him to delete the video, the father of the youth advised the father of the survivor to make her denounce her faith and follow their religion and adopt their religion and said that thereafter, either his son or he himself would marry her, according to a report by The Times of India.
